Mark Cheng is an artist, a web developer, a technologist, a filmmaker and, above all, a hard worker. He is based in New York/New Jersey and has worked on television commercials, music videos, interstitials, and industrials. Mark has produced and directed award-winning short films. He has filmed video for Nickelodeon On-air Promotions, created a video series for Nickelodeon Online, and photographed for Nickelodeon Consumer Products. Mark graduated from Cornell University’s Cinema Program, and earned his MBA from Rutgers Business School.

Most recently, Mark made waves when he completed his personal project, “the best damn GI Joe fan film ever made.”

Operation: Red Retrieval, a 20 minute action film, was completed with over 150 visual effects shots and received praise from both Jon Chu, the director of the Paramount Pictures upcoming sequel, and Larry Hama, the creator of the original Marvel comic series in the 1980s.
